Nová síť has launched a programme supporting residencies for artists and cultural management teams. The programme is part of the Czech Cultural Network Nová síť funded from the Norway Grants 2014–2021.
The support is intended for artists and cultural management teams for their artists residencies in the Czech Republic, at selected host residency venues offered through the ART-IN-RES platform www.artinres.cz

Artist residency: The programme focuses on supporting creative process and development of new projects in performing arts. A special attention will be given to projects exploring the boundaries of theatre, dance, performance, and visual arts. Each residency should result in a work in progress / intervention in space / artwork specific for the site of residency.
Manager residency: The support of cultural management teams is intended for teams which operate primarily in the area of regional cultural development. The result of the residency should include a progress report on a research theme or a report on sharing know-how with the partner organization. Research themes should be discussed with residency venue in advance.
Artists and cultural management teams operating in Norway on a long-term basis are encouraged to apply.
The call is proposed for residencies taking place
from 1 October to 30 November 2021, and f
rom 1 March to 30 April 2022. Travel expenses of four people shall be reimbursed within each residency programme (EUR40/day/person, it means 4 people/week/EUR 1120).
Manager residency shall run from 1 week to 10 days.
Artist residency shall run from 2 to 3 weeks.
